Let me tell you a little about myself and what, as of now, my blog will mostly be about. My name is Joseph and I am 29 years old. I am married and have 3 wonderful daughters. I am a Christian and have a great church family. I work as a scientist for an air emissions testing company. I am a graduate from Texas A&M University and majored in Wildlife and Fisheries Science.
OK enough about me, lets move on to the blog. This blog will mainly be about my war gaming experiences. I choose the name The Forces of Disorder because the armies I like are normally the "evil" races, with a few exceptions. Since I have not played a game of Warhammer 40k since 2005, but plan to start again once I have a painted army again, this will mostly be hobby related. Once I start playing again I will try to add some of my thoughts on the games I played, battle reports, and maybe even tactics if I come up with something that hasn't already been posted hundreds of times around the web.
My current goal is to get 1500pts of Necrons assembled and painted. I have found some nice resin bases from Secret Weapon Miniatures that I am using for my army. The only thing is Necrons can have a lot of flying bases in the army depending on what you take, and mine has 10 as of now. My solution is since they are all large flying bases, 55mm, I will just stick them on 60mm bases. This should be close enough to the original size that most people will be OK with it. I will hopefully has this army finished by the end of summer, I know I am a slow painter, and then start back on my favorite army the Iron Warriors. They have been the army that I played the most when I got started in Warhammer 40k, and I think will always be my favorite.
That's it for now. Later this week I will try and post up my army list and maybe some pictures of my Necron Destroyer Lord.
